NYC SRA Annual Fishing Charter

Ahoy there! The NYC Special Rigger’s Association is excited to announce our 2024 NYCSRA Saltwater Fishing Social!

We are scheduled to board the Super Current at 7:30 am (SHARP!!) from the docks of Island Current, 551 City Island Avenue, Bronx, NY for a seven (7) hour tour for bottom fishing. We will target what’s the most promising catch. The trip includes all required gear, bait, and mates for support. We encourage our members to join us and bring a guest for this fun day out on the water.

The 90’ Super Current is our host for the day. The boat will be chartered by NYCSRA and open to all members and non-members. NYCSRA will provide breakfast and lunch (bagels, coffee, hoagies and all the fixings with soft drinks and water available). We will have beer on board, but you are welcome tobring your own beer and wine; no hard alcohol is permitted on board.

Tickets will be limited so please purchase your tickets soon. Cost per person will be $140 and will include the cost of the charter, tip for the mates, lunch, beer, and soft drinks for the day.

You may bring your own fishing poles if you wish!

In case there is any reason weather related the captain feels it will not be safe to fish on our departure date, there will be a make up date scheduled later.
